Hello, I’m Okan.
I built Power Window because I wanted to understand how electricity works in Spain and share what I was learning.
How it started
I’ve always been curious about energy systems. When I discovered that Red Eléctrica de España (REE) publishes real, accessible data, I saw a chance to make it easier to explore.
That became this website: a place where anyone can follow how electricity is changing across the country, look at the statistics, and better understand what hourly prices mean.
I also wanted the data to be useful in daily life. That’s why Power Window helps find better hours for flexible tasks, such as doing laundry or charging an electric car.
Public data, clearly explained
Power Window uses data published by REE and explains its calculations and limits. It is an independent project; it does not represent Red Eléctrica or provide an official assessment of the electricity system.
To see where the numbers come from and how they are interpreted, read the methodology or visit the data source directly.
